El Gallo Tapatio in Alsip

Im from the south side little village Pilsen and when I tell you that El Gallo horchata is trash it’s TRASH taste like water. Couldn’t even order after taking first sip of horchata

The food was gross! I've always had a really good experience here. I'm not sure what happened here. But we will never come back to this joint again. Gross!

We went with the intent of ordering something there and to take home as well. We started with 2 pork tacos, and one beef taco. When the food arrived the corn tortillas were stale and the pork was oozing grease the beef was bland needless to say we did not order anything to go.

My favorite dinner..always will be

My favorite neighborhood mexican food spot. I come here at least once a week for quick and fresh taco, burritos, sopes and the like. My favorite is the steak and tongue, yummy! One of three locations.

Had the taco dinner, Steak, Chorizo & Pastor. Another had the Carne Asada dinner. Everything was good, steak taco meat could use a little more seasoning (garlic). Definitely will go back. Hope they are consistent with food prep. Alot of places it depends whose cooking . To me no matter who cooks flavors need to be consistent.

I've been coming here for over 15 years. This is my favorite Mexican joint. They've got the best Mexican Style Steak! Everyone here is super friendly and service is quick quick quick!

Food was prepared quickly and seasoned well. Large portions was able to make two meals from the one dinner. I had the chicken sope dinner. The carrots were great also.

I went in and saw 4 guys one standing right over the plates the counters, I wrote a mall, gloves they need to be more proactive

I remember getting burritos from this place for lunch when I worked in the area...went back after several years and they tasted the same. HOWEVER on my latest visit they were not good at all..steak didn't taste like steak..wasn't good.😒😒

Great food. Tacos are a good size. There are 3 tacos in the taco dinner. Most all other places only give 2 tacos in their dinner. If you love sour cream, DON'T buy their sour cream. They charged me $7.00 for a 6oz cup of sour cream. A smaller cup is $1.65. They DON'T include sour cream with solo tacos or taco dinner. It's best to buy a carton of sour cream at your local food store

Great quick and courteous service! Their food is delicious and they have a lot of variety for everyone. I specifically enjoy their steak taco dinner, horchata, carrots, and chips + guac!

The food is good here. However if I had a choice I would prefer to go to 63rd and Sacramento and eat Mexican food in that place. I think that they both have the same name I'm not sure though.

This site is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to that place. everytime I feel like having a superb dinner, this restaurant comes first to my mind. best and all kinds of food and a rich menu.trained staff, and agreeable spirit. And very important, the price is fair. I suggest this place with pleasure.

My wife and I come here regularly for tacos, rice, and horchata. This is easily our favorite place for Mexican food. We love the staff and the atmosphere!
